Things To Do in Kandy

One of the top two most visited cities in Sri Lanka, Kandy, is both a bustling city in the hills and Sri Lanka’s hill country capital. The last kingdom that fell to the British in 1815, Kandy was and still is the sacred sanctuary where Buddhists flock to pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic of the Buddha which is housed at the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Temple of the Tooth or Dalada Maligawa.
